Christmas 2008 & January 2009

Christmas is a busy time of year for everyone, and that includes St Peter's. There are many concerts leading up to the big day, and these are listed on our events page, but here are the highlights...

The Ipswich Hospital Intermediate Band Christmas Concert

The Ipswich Hospital Intermediate Band presents a festive concert. The Intermediate Band kick of the festive season at St Peter's with a concert packed full of christmas music as well as other music to keep you entertained on a cold night.

The Ipswich Hospital Band Christmas Concert

The Ipswich Hospital Band will be joined by the Springfield Junior School Choir providing more festive music, the proceeds from both Hospital Band concerts will be given to The Shelley Centre for Therapeutic Riding.

Recorders Incorporated

On the 4th January 2009 an international recorder orchestra, Recorders Incorporated will perform at St. Peter's by the Waterfront in Ipswich. They will be travelling from all over the UK, Germany and the Netherlands and rehearsing in the venue prior to the concert.

The theme of their Concert is 'Something Old and Something New' They will be playing music by Brumel, Maute, Schnabel and Wylkinson.

Tickets are £5.00 each and can be purchased or booked in advance from the Centre Managers: Amanda and Andrew Mayhew.
