February/March 2010

After a snowy start to the year St Peter's by the Waterfront is now gearing up for the rest of the year.

 

First up we have the "Wolsey by the Waterfront" concert, on Saturday 13th February 2010. The concert by the Wolsey Orchestra conducted by Andrew Morley will feature a range of music by Mozart, Mendelssohn and Beethoven. The concert costs £10 for adults and £7 for concessions. More information is available from the Centre Manager.

 

 

In March the Ipswich Hospital Band are in full swing with three engagements in the centre.

Firstly the Ipswich Hospital Band's Intermediate Band and Foundation Group will be giving their belated Christmas Concert on Saturday 6th March. This was postponed from the 18th December last year, but don't worry there won't be any Chirstmas Carols for you to sing!

Secondly the band will be holding a Quiz night, on Saturday 13th March, open to family and friends of the band, and others, just conact the Center Manager for more information. Entry is £5 per person, with 6 people per team.

Finally, the full Ipswich Hospital Band will be performing it's first concert of the year on Saturday 27th March, conducted by their Musical Director, Peter Gray. More information on this concert to follow.
